Ecopower

The Future of Energy Supply . . .

Marathon ecopower™ microCHP

As shown in the schematic below, the ecopower cogeneration unit generates both heat and electricity in an environmentally friendly manner for residential or light commercial applications.

This innovative appliance is designed to run inside your residence or building and is clean, quiet, and up to 92% efficient (65% thermal and 27% electrical).

The long life Marathon™ engine can run for 4,000 continuous hours between maintenance needs and is designed to last 10 years before a major overhaul. The unit functions best in applications where hydronic (water / boiler) systems are used, however it can be adapted to other heating systems.

The information on the reverse side shows a typical installation as well as some of the pertinent technical aspects of the unit. As you can see . . . ecopower is truly the future of home energy.

Applications
The ecopower microCHP is designed as a unique heating and power source for today’s single and multi-family homes or small businesses. It can also be used to service larger facilities by installing multiple units. In this multiplexed application, the system is especially efficient because only units needed to satisfy the load will be utilized. Fuel/energy is not wasted on an oversized generator. As for industrial applications with peak rates or demand loads, the ecopower(s) can help reduce these high cost charges. Typical applications are:

  • Single and multi-family homes
  • Schools, day cares
  • Lodges and small hotels
  • Agriculture, green houses
  • Small industry , car wash
  • Sport centers / swimming pools
